Mongered rumors swirled around Angeles City these past days about some sort of Satanic cult on a murderous spree.
The rumors spread through text messages alleging that Mayor Ed Pamintuan himself was cautioning families to beware of opening their doors to strangers as they could be members of the cult that allegedly massacred a family in Barangay Pandan.
Incredulously stupid even at first glance. But still a lot of the gullible fall for it.
